Barrister
Rob Taylor commenced legal practice as a Solicitor at Carroll & O'Dea Solicitors in 1984. By 1987 he was an Associate Partner and continued to work in that capacity until he came to the Bar in February 1992 practicing initially from Edmund Barton Chambers, William Deane Chambers and now Jack Shand Chambers.
Over more than 21 years as a legal practitioner, Rob has practiced in and represented Plaintiffs and Defendants in a wide range of cases and jurisdictions. He has extensive experience in litigation of all kinds including work injuries, medical negligence, public liability, motor vehicle, public liability and disability and life policy claims.
He has also been successfully engaged in general insurance litigation, professional negligence litigation and in de facto relationship and Family Provisions Act claims.
In addition to his work in Sydney, Rob has a significant practice in the ACT where he regularly appears in the ACT Supreme Court.
