Mr Ian Newbrun practices across the broad spectrum of common law litigation including motor accidents, public/occupiers liability, dust diseases and medical negligence. He is NSW Chairperson of the Federal Government's Medicare Participation Review Committee which makes determinations in relation to the conduct of health professionals in connection with the Medicare scheme. 

He is a panel member of the Federal Court Legal Advice Scheme relating to appeals by asylum seekers from the Refugee Review Tribunal to the Federal Court.  He has been a Legal Reporter for the New South Wales Law Reports since 1987. He is a Local Court of NSW arbitrator. Ian is a nationally accredited Mediator and is a Supreme Court of NSW panel Mediator
