Eraine Grotte has over 40 years of experience in personal injury, workers compensation, work injury damages, administrative law and refugee law litigation.
She was admitted as a solicitor of the NSW Supreme Court in 1981, then of the High Court and Federal Court in 1984. Eraine was called to the Bar in October 2012. She has held senior roles in a number of national Tribunals and Commissions, including the NSW Mental Health Review Tribunal, the Migration Review Tribunal and the NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption. Some of Eraine’s most notable cases include BYJB v Minister for Immigration, Citizenship, Migrant Services & Multicultural Affairs [2022] FCA 734, AFD 16 v Minister for Immigration and Border Protection [2020] FCA 964 and Bhusal v Catholic Health Care Ltd [2018] NSWCA 56.
